Deposit & withdrawal methods

Move money in and out of your VestAccrue account in Canadian dollars, with the methods Canadians actually use. Every platform-side deposit and withdrawal is free of charge; third-party costs, where they exist, are shown before you confirm. Timelines below are typical on business days.

How a deposit works, step by step

  1. Choose your method with your account manager. For most Canadians, Interac e-Transfer is the simplest: it moves funds straight from your bank account in Canadian dollars, with no card involved and no conversion.
  2. Initiate the transfer. For e-Transfer, send the payment from your online banking using the instructions shown in your dashboard; for cards and wallets, complete the provider's own secure checkout in the amount you chose.
  3. Confirmation. e-Transfer deposits are normally credited within minutes of acceptance; card and wallet deposits are credited as soon as the provider authorizes the payment. Your balance updates without a refresh of the whole page.
  4. Talk it through before, not after. If a payment fails or an amount looks wrong, do not send it twice: write to support with the reference, and the trace with the provider starts the same business day.

Payment security, briefly

Card and wallet payments are processed on the payment provider's own secure pages, so your full card number never touches our servers. e-Transfer never shares your banking credentials with us at all: your bank's own login and security questions stay between you and your bank. Payouts are returned by the same rail a deposit arrived on, and the first withdrawal to any new method goes through a one-time ownership check, because a payout is the moment account-takeover attackers care about most.

If a message about a payment ever asks for your password, a one-time code, or remote access to your device, it is not from us; see the Fraud Warning page and report it. Real payment questions are answered by the support team at our published address, in English or French, during business hours.

Deposits and withdrawals are executed in Canadian dollars; currency conversion (up to 1.50%) applies only when you trade an instrument in another currency. For your security, payouts follow the same rail the deposit arrived on, and Interac e-Transfer withdrawals require an email or phone registered in your name.
